Charles Edward Grundon, age 78, of Derby, KS, was born on December 9, 1931, in East St. Louis, Illinois. He was the son of Carl & Leta (Courson) Grundon. He left this life on Wednesday, February 24, 2010, in Wichita, KS.
Charles was a retired Master Sergeant in the U. S. Air Force serving during Korea and Vietnam. He also retired from Boeing.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, wife of 49 years, Wanda, son, Charles Don Grundon, 3 brothers and 1 sister.
Survivors include 2 sons, Christopher Grundon, Derby, KS, Michael Grundon, Haysville, KS; brother, Harold Grundon, Centralia, IL, 2 sisters, Martha Grundon, Sherman, TX, Gwen Coleman, Sherman, TX and many other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 27, 2010, at Jones IOOF Cemetery, Jones, OK with Rev. Gary Eubanks officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
