Zelma Lee Russell was born on November 1, 1940, in Kendrick, Oklahoma and departed this life on Monday, February 1, 2010, in Stroud, Oklahoma, at the age of 69.
Zelma was the daughter of Leonard and Opal (Tipson) Canada. She was raised in Kendrick, Oklahoma and graduated from Kendrick High School. She married Ramon Terrell on December 9, 1993 in Beaty, Nevada. Zelma worked as the office manager at the Lincoln County Health Department for many years.
Her parents, husband, one sister, Bettie Obermiller preceded Zelma in death. Survivors include, one son & daughter-in-law, Marty & Nettie Russell of Okla. City, OK, one daughter & son-in-law, Tracy & Mark English of Santa Maria, CA, one brother, John Canada of Edmond, OK, one sister, Arlena Ash of Davenport, OK, four grandchildren, Gus & Nate Russell of Oklahoma City, OK, Taylor & Kelsi English of Santa Maria, CA, numerous nieces & nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2010, at 11:00 A.M. at the First Baptist Church in Davenport, Oklahoma with Rev. Mike Mitchell officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
