Verna, the daughter of Vernie M. and Aileen (Pratka) Jordan, was a resident of Prague. Her family moved to Arizona when Verna was a young girl and returned to Prague when she was a teenager. She graduated from Prague High School with the class of 1976 and received her LPN from Gordon Cooper in 1978.
Survivors include parents, Vernie and Aileen Jordan of Prague; son and daughter-in-law, Jay and Courtney Friend of Meeker; brothers and sisters-in-law, Michael and June Jordan of Choctaw, Mark and Dana Jordan of Prague; sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Charles Gerlich of Prague; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and many friends.
