Edna B. (Brown) Brooks was born on January 3, 1919, in Prague, Oklahoma, and departed this life on January 29, 2010, in Prague, Oklahoma, at the age of 91. Edna, the daughter of George Henderson and Stella Belle (Gregory) Brown, was a resident of Prague. She was a homemaker. Edna's first husband was Leonard E. Cook they married on February 9, 1935 in Tecumseh. He preceded her in death on October 25, 1971. Her husband, Ray C. Brooks preceded her in death on August 16, 1982. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and five brothers.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Jvon L. and Pat Cook of Prague,OK, Robert and Sharon Cook of Prague,OK; stepsons, Bruce Brooks of Whittier, NC, Wayne Brooks of Whittier, NC; grandchildren, Jvon R. Cook of Houston, TX, Janon K. Cook of Shawnee, OK, Bobbie D. Qualls of Bartlesville, OK; great-grandchildren, Chase E. Cook, Chelsea Knoch, Brittney Gosnell, Courtney Lyn Doss; great-great-grandchildren, Dylan Gosnell, Chase Cook,Jr., Crystal Cook, Lilly Cook, Brookelynn Knoch.
