Gracie, the daughter of Dempsey and Maggie (Stidham) Taylor, was a long-time resident of Chandler. She married C.L. Thronesbery on June 9, 1943, in Chandler. Gracie was a homemaker and member of the Chandler Southern Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother, survivors include, daughter and son-in-law, Joyce & John Crawford of Chandler, OK, son & daughter-in-law, Carroll & Evon Thronesbery of Friendswood, TX, brothers, Bill Taylor of Chandler, Don Taylor of OKC, OK, Roy Taylor of Sparks, OK, Ira Taylor of Chandler, Jerry Taylor of Chandler, sister, Dorothy Wakley of Chandler, 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, on Tuesday, January 5, 2010, at the First Baptist Church in Chandler with Rev. Rick Blackwell officiating. Burial will follow at Carney Cemetery in Carney, OK. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
