Frances E. Hutchens, McLoud, OK, age 89, was born on January 3, 1920, in Washington, DC. She was the daughter of Robert L. & Lena (McGinney) McWhirt. She departed this life on Wednesday, December 30, 2009, in Shawnee, OK.
Frances lived in the McLoud area for 33 years. She liked to cook and enjoyed dancing and country music.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Klondus Hutchens, two brothers and one grandchild.
Survivors include 2 sons & daughters-in-law, William B. & RuthAnn Crawley, Virginia Beach,VA, Thomas F. & Carolyn Crawley, McLoud, OK; 4 daughters & sons-in-law, Betty A. & Sonny Orrick, Richmond, VA, Mary F. & Jerry Leyerly, McLoud, OK, Carolyn J. & Charles Kaufman, Darlington, SC, Susan L. Lewis, Ashland, VA; sister, Louise Frye, Baltimore, MD; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends
Services will be 2:00 PM, Monday, January 4, 2010, at the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel, Harrah, OK, with Chaplain Donnie Knight officiating. Interment will follow at McLoud Riverside Cemetery, McLoud, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
