Alma D. (Bean) Reese was born on August 2, 1920, in Wichita, KS, and departed this life on Sunday, December 27, 2009, in Stroud, OK, at the age of 89 years.
Alma, was the daughter of Dell and Merty (Boyd) Bean. She grew up in the Rocksprings Community of Chandler, OK, and lived in Oklahoma City for several years prior to returning to Chandler. Alma worked as a waitress and homemaker for many years. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Chandler. Alma married James Reese from Oklahoma City in a Spencer, OK wedding ceremony. They had no children. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, four brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include, one sister, Thelma Bean of Chandler, OK, numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM, on Thursday, December 31, 2009, at Clearview Cemetery in Chandler. with Rev. Burton Z. Lewis and Rev. Lyndal Werner officating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
